The Board of Directors of the Huron Farmworkers Ministry is humbly asking for your help.
Like everyone else these days, our charitable organization is struggling financially and sadly, we find ourselves in a deficit situation.
The Huron FWM is a compassionate outreach ministry that serves over 8,000 migrant farmworkers who arrive each year to work in our local farming industry in Norfolk County, Leamington and Tillsonburg.
We recognize the invaluable contributions these workers make to our Canadian economy and food security. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to provide them with the support, resources, and the care they need because the HFM program mandates that workers be extended the same rights and privileges as any other Canadian. We offer support in many ways, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Your donations mean that we can meet our funding commitments for our workers and offer more services and programmes. Our Farmworkers always come first in our budget considerations.
Your donations mean that we can expand our mental health support for the Farmworkers who struggle with being away from their home and families.
Your donations mean the farmworkers can enjoy a more dignified life while they are miles away from home here in Canada.

This spring we received a call from some panicked farmworkers who did not have enough money to buy food. Bad weather had prevented them from working and earning their wages. Immediately several HFM staff stepped up and scrambled to buy and deliver food to several farms as quickly as possible.
The Board of the HFM is asking for your help so that we can offer more support and services by reducing or eliminating our deficit.
We are the hands and feet of Christ in this world, and we passionately want to care for these hard working people who are working miles away from home so that they can make a better life and future for their children and their community.
The Huron FWM would be extremely grateful for your generosity.
