More than 30 years ago, a group of committed parishioners came together with a shared vision: to support the ministry and pastoral care offered by our bishops. This group became known as Bishop's Men. As our Diocese has grown and become more diverse, that original vision has evolved into Bishop's Friends.

Our Bishops of Huron carry a significant ministry of pastoral care for our clergy and their families, especially during times of crisis or unexpected need. This includes offering compassionate support, emergency assistance, and outreach that helps sustain the wellbeing of those who serve our Diocese.

There is no designated Diocesan budget line for this work. When urgent situations arise, the resources provided by Bishop's Friends make it possible for our bishops to respond. Your involvement helps ensure this vital ministry continues.
