Parishes wishing to submit a grant application to the ANGLICAN FOUNDATION for the April 1st deadline, must submit the application to the diocesan Grants and Loans Committee by the February 13th deadline.

Do you live close by our Bayfield site? Maybe visiting for an extended period and looking for something geared to your children? Have you wondered about camp but aren’t quite ready for overnights?
Announcing our new program for 6 - 12-year-olds ... DAY TRIPPERS
Day Trippers join us at breakfast and stay until dinner, bringing what they need for the day, joining the fun, integrated into one of our cabin groups! We will even save a bunk, so they feel right at home.

As we all are busy in our Vestry preparations, I am sending this brief note to ask that all parishes include in their vestry proceedings, the appointment of a Parish Representative to the AFP.
For some, this appointment is already a regular part of the vestry agenda and for others it has been some time since such an appointment to the AFP was made. It is through representatives that AFP is able to support the development of prayer groups, retreats, quiet days and prayer conferences in your parish and in our diocese. With support and training offered to AFP representatives in the form of literature on prayer, newsletters, and regularly connecting with others also involved in prayer in other parishes, prayer is encouraged in the life of the church, helping us all to develop in our life of prayer and in our relationship to God and to one another.
The name and contact information for any appointed as AFP representatives may be entered on the year end documentation sent into the Church House, or it may be sent to Libi Clifford, AFP Executive member directly at afpletspray@gmail.com

The Essex Deanery Lay Leadership Training Classes: Lay leadership courses for 2025 and early 2026.
These classes will be held in person at Canterbury College. Classes are from 10:00 am - 2:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
We have partnered with Canterbury College for the courses and they are providing us with the technology support to also bring the classes by zoom. Please join us for one or for all of the classes.
This year we have decided to focus on the core subjects.

PWRDF Al-Ahli Anglican Episcopal Hospital is the oldest hospital in Gaza, founded in 1882 by the Church of England. We have supported this hospital for years as a partner. It is the only hospital still functioning in northern Gaza. The hospital is struggling to cope with a flood of patients amidst the ongoing conflict.
- CRISIS IN LEBANON
PWRDF’s Lebanon Emergency Appeal Continues. Since the start of the conflict, over 2,700 lives have been lost. An estimated one million people have been directly affected, with many of them displaced, and over 12,000 people are injured. Every donation provides support and relief. UPCOMING EVENTS AT ST. GEORGE'S, LONDON:
St. George’s Variety Show 2025. Come on out and enjoy our bi-annual variety show the “Mid-Winter-Blues-Beater” on Saturday, February 8th. The fun will begin at 7:00 pm.
Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. This is a pay what you can event, with a suggested price of $15 per person, or $40 per family with all proceeds from the evening going to the Century Building Fund.
You can find us at 227 Wharncliffe Rd North, London and if you don't already have plans we hope to see you there!  It will be a fabulous evening of fun and fellowship.
We have a great lineup of amateur entertainment plus every ticket will have a chance to win one of several great door prizes.  Tickets will be available at the door.
Choral Evensong, St. George’s, London.
The regular services of Choral Evensong at St. George’s at 227 Wharncliffe Rd North will continue in 2025 on the fourth Sunday of every month, as follows:

All services will begin at 4:00 pm. Please note that there will be no Choral Evensong services during the months of July and August. The regular services will begin again in September 2025.

DAILY BREAD COORDINATOR – GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH, BRANTFORD
• Responsible for seeing that weekly nutritious meals, appealing (and cost effective) are served.
• Ensures everyone is treated with dignity and compassion.
• Creates menus for the following month and makes lists of staple items needed.
• Writes up weekly lists for purchase of fresh vegetables.
• Must be very conscious that a sanitary environment is maintained to make and serve the meals.
• Must hold a food handler certificate.
• Responsible for maintenance of equipment i.e. stoves, frig, slicer; repairs as needed.
• Ensure every shift have a person with a food handler certificate present.
