    PWRDF Al-Ahli Anglican Episcopal Hospital is the oldest hospital in Gaza, founded in 1882 by the Church of England. We have supported this hospital for years as a partner. It is the only hospital still functioning in northern Gaza. The hospital is struggling to cope with a flood of patients amidst the ongoing conflict. How you can help: To support the al-Ahli Arab Hospital and related outreach, please donate online to our Gaza and West Bank Emergency appeal.

  1. Upcoming Fall Session at St. George’s Anglican Church, London: THE LEGACY OF ANGLICANISM - DIFFICULT, DELIGHTFUL, DEEP 
    Our Parish Theologian, The Rev'd Canon Dr. Timothy Connor, will be leading a three-part series beginning this Fall, The Legacy of Anglicanism - Difficult, Delightful, Deep. 
    Part two of the series, 'The Delightful Legacy' will begin on January 22 2025 and ending on February 12. Part three, 'The Deep Legacy' beginning in October 2025.

    St. Matthew’s presents: The Windsor Symphony Orchestra - Handel’s Messiah Concert, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 7:30 pm, in the church nave.  Join us for this beloved holiday concert with Maestro Robert Franz leading a program of highlights from Handel’s Messiah, a grand celebration of the season that will leave you singing “Hallelujah!” Purchase your tickets online  After the concert, there will be refreshments served by St. Matthew’s, in the church hall.  
    St. Matthew’s Advent Retreat Day - Saturday, December 14, 2024. 9 am to 3:30pm. From the Deanery of Essex or elsewhere, and all denominations, everyone is welcome! Join us for a time of reflection, prayer, worship, and pause to reflect on the season's true meaning. The retreat day will be led by The Reverend Gilles Haché, curate at St. Matthew’s.  All are welcome - pre-registration is required.  Meal will be provided, and free-will donations gratefully accepted.     At 9:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month, the Corporate Men’s Breakfast Group will be serving   Breakfast 
    in St. Paul’s Community Hall.  Everyone is invited.
    - At 11:30 a.m. on the last Sunday of each month, a Community Lunch will be served in St. Paul’s Community Hall after the 10:00 a.m. service, starting on September 29.  All are welcome.

    In this position, you will be responsible for a range of duties including developing lesson plans, assigning homework, responding to issues, and addressing children/youth needs.
    Employment requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent qualifications.
    - A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role (if possible).
    - Proven experience as an educator is advantageous (if possible).
    - Becoming an active Church member.
    - Good understanding of planning and developing lesson plans.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other social media.
