2019 marks the 60th Anniversary of the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund as a major work of outreach within the Anglican Church of Canada.
Through these six decades it has served the Anglicans in Canada in fulfilling several of the Marks of Mission and has partnered with relief and development work in many parts of the world and with First Nations communities in Canada.
In recognition and celebration of this ministry, in which the Diocese of Huron has played an important part, executive director Will Postma will be a guest at Synod to share some of the good news of PWRDF. Look forward to a special presentation by Will on Monday right before lunch, along with an important contribution from PWRDF Huron.
