Synod Opening Service

185th Synod of the Diocese of Huron opened on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 7:30 pm with the service at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Ontario. Presider and Preacher was Rt. Rev. Todd Townshend, Bishop of Huron.
Representatives of all Huron churhes gathered in London on October 18-19, 2024 to discuss most important issues facing the Anglican Church in South-Western Ontario. The theme of this year’s Synod is Turning to Grace, which is also the title of the diocesan plan recently approved by the Diocesan Council.
