Confirmation service in Brant-Norfolk: Candidates with Bishop Todd and Canon Rob Park, Rector of St. Mark's Brantford.
On the evening of Tuesday, June 18, people from across the deanery of Brant-Norfolk gathered together with Bishop Todd Townshend at St. Mark's church in Brantford.
The occasion was a deanery confirmation service which included candidates from Brantford, Paris, Port Rowan and Simcoe.
"With incredibly hot and humid conditions outside and a large congregation inside the church, all present were very thankful that St. Mark's has air conditioning!'' Commented the Regional Dean Rev. Paul Sherwood.
During the joyful liturgy, ten people were confirmed and one person reaffirmed their baptismal vows.
