Huron Church News is an award-winning publication — available online and in print — with the mission of telling the stories of the Anglican Diocese of Huron.
The print edition was chosen best overall newspaper at the Anglican Editors Association conference in June 2015. From 2017 through 2022 Huron Church News won several awards from the Canadian Christian Communicators Association (formerly Canadian Church Press) including a second place award for the General Excellence category (2022).
The stories you’ll find in Huron Church News talk about where a sense of mission and purpose is taking churches, programs, and individuals; how God is moving in their lives; what’s life-changing in their midst; what has caused them to rejoice; and who is living their passion.
Huron Church News comes out 10 times a year from September to June.
Meet our Editor - Davor Milicevic, Ph.D
Davor is the Communications Officer of the Diocese, and our Huron Church News Editor. He joined Team Huron in 2016.
Davor brings eighteen years of experience as the Communications Officer and Publishing Editor for the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, and a doctorate in the field of dogmatic differences between Eastern and Western churches and their influence on modern cultural diversity.
