By Rev. Marty Levesque
On Sunday, April 29 the Deanery of Waterloo gathered at St. James’ in Cambridge for a deanery confirmation service with Bishop Terry Dance presiding.
Candidates from All Saints’ (Waterloo), St. George Forest Hill (Kitchener), St. John the Evangelist (Kitchener), Trinity (Cambridge), St. Luke’s (Cambridge) and St. Andrew Memorial (Kitchener) were confirmed and received into the Anglican Communion.
Bishop Terry reminded the confirmands and those received into the communion of our joint responsibility to be Kingdom builders with Christ as our cornerstone; that each of us needs to be engaged in helping to build a kingdom of justice, mercy and love.
Congratulations to all the candidates and the Deanery of Waterloo.
