Therapist and educator Bill Hill enriched the parishioners at Holy Trinity Parish in Lucan with his Haudenosaunee culture during a very poignant celebration on Father’s Day leading up to National Aboriginal Day.
Educated in traditional Aboriginal healing methods, Bill relies on both his Haudenosaunee and Anglican faiths. “I walk in both worlds,” says Bill. “It’s important to share information as one. This is safety, this is love, this is comfort.”
Bill enlightened the congregation with story and song and parishioners participated in a smudging ceremony.
