The Regional Ministry of Saugeen Shores, Tara and Chatsworth invites you to join us in celebrating the 160th Anniversary of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Southampton: July 7 @ 10:30. St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 248 High Street, Southampton, Ontario. Rt.  Rev. Linda Nicholls, Bishop of Huron will be leading our morning worship and dedication of our butterfly gardens and our labyrinth. A luncheon will follow the service and dedication.   • St. John’s in Grand Bend is celebrating their 70th anniversary on July 7. Come and join with the Christian family of St. John’s-by-the-Lake and our rector the Rev.   • The Vicars Crossing Podcast, Holy Trinity St. Stephen’s Church and St. Aidan’s Church are pleased to bring Michael Coren to London Saturday July 20 at 7pm at Holy Trinity St. Stephen’s. We will continue our conversations about Faith in the Public Square. Michael will share his thoughts on what bearing witness to Jesus in the Public Square might look like.  He will share his own experience and give voice to the cost of following the Rebel Jesus. tickets are $15 each.   • Anglicans from the London, and other regions of the Diocese of Huron, are once again invited to participate in the 25th Annual London Pride Parade on July 28, 2019.  Our presence in the parade, supported by Bishop Linda Nicholls and the Diocesan office, will form behind the banner “Proud Anglicans”.  Congregational groups and/or individuals are welcome to arrive at the Western Fair Racetrack on July 28 prior to 12:30 P.M.  (Parking available in the Western Fair Market lot, off King St.) The parade is scheduled to begin at 12:30 P.M.   Participants are encouraged to dress colourfully, bring a parish banner if you have one and any other “props” you may think of to contribute to a joyful and festive mood (and don’t forget sunscreen and a reusable water bottle, and maybe an umbrella).  “Proud Anglicans” will walk the entire route, which will take 1-1.5 hours, ending at Victoria Park.   If mobility is an issue for you, we encourage you to find a spot along the parade route and to cheer on the entries.
