As reported by PWRDF, their coordinator has been in close contact with Barbara Andrews, Bishop of the Territory of the People (formerly the Anglican Parishes of the Central Interior), where every resident is affected by the fire. While immediate needs are being met, the recovery from such a disaster can take a long time, and PWRDF is ready to work with affected dioceses once needs have been clarified.

The wildfires have already forced close to 40,000 people to flee their homes As of Monday, July 17, there are 162 wildfires burning across B.C.
